DIY Vinegar Hair Care This simple and well known recipe corrects the hair’s pH and removes residue from shampoo and other hair products, creating a healthy-looking shine and bringing out the natural highlights in your hair. Vinegar also works as a conditioner and natural hair detangler. I use this mixture not only on my hair but also as detox or weight – loss aid.

Juice from ½ lemon
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup water

To make:
1. Combine all ingredients in a pitcher or jar and mix well.

Here are the steps:
1. Shampoo and rinse hair as usual.
2. Condition with the vinegar hair rinse –  working it in with your fingers.
3. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Cool water closing curticles and add the shine.

That’s it! It does take a little playing around to get the right amount of both ingredients for your hair. But once you figure it out, you’ll be left with smooth and silky hair that will actually be healthy. If you worry about vinegar smell, its going to evaporate very quick.

Remember, conventional shampoos and conditioners contain ingredients that coat your hair strands with chemicals to give the illusion of health.
